Terms of service

1. Using Docmind

Docmind provides an AI research notebook that lets you add sources and ask questions about them (the “Service”). You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live, to use it.

2. Your account

You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your password secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the documents, links and text you add, and to the answers generated for you. You grant us a limited licence to host, copy, process and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. You confirm you have the rights needed to upload and process the content you add.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is unlawful or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Use the Service to harass others, distribute malware or attempt to breach security.
• Probe, scrape or overload the Service, or circumvent plan limits or access controls.
• Resell or provide the Service to third parties without our written permission.

5. AI-generated answers

Docmind is designed to answer only from your sources and to cite them, but AI systems can still make mistakes — including misreading a passage or citing it imperfectly. Always verify important information against the cited source. Answers are not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.

6. Plans and changes

Some features and limits, such as the number of workspaces, depend on your plan. Paid plans are billed in advance and renew until cancelled. We may change plan features or prices with reasonable notice; changes won't affect a billing period you've already paid for.

7. Termination

You can stop using Docmind and delete your content at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your content after a reasonable period.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Docmind will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes we'll notify you in advance. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
